If You Want to Live Longer, Die Laughing

Children laugh an average 400 times a day, adults 15. But can laughter keep you healthy? "It is possible", Lee Bark, associate director at The Center for Neuroimmunology at the Loma Linda School of Medicine, says in "Parenting Magazine".

According to Berk, laughter helps keep life balance and is a key part of a healthy lifestyle. Researchers have found that laughter helps produce NK Cells, which fight infections.

Laughter also suppresses the release of cortisol, a harmone that weakens the immune system. Laughter also increases circulatory capacity and strengthens organs.
