I vote for good health!
During this time of a very important election, remember that you are in charge of your health. Take a stance today and vote for yourself to get started on an exercise program. It makes good since to also vote on eating better. These two votes might be the best two votes you have ever made in your life.

The Moo Factor
The MOO factor will determine what you are and where you are going. It's the" margin of opportunity." It's the time or space between where you are and where you want to be. What you do between this time will determine who and what you are. Set your goals and get busy doing what you need to do. This is the only way you will get to where you want to be. Oh, have some fun in your journey.

Diet Pills
There seems to be a large surge of diet pills back on the market again. Recently I was asked about a very popular diet pill called Alli. This is sold over the counter and is used to help lose weight quickly. This pill is a drug that stops the pancreas from producing an enzyme that breaks down fat in the small intestine. Because the fat doesn't get broke down it doesn't get absorbed, cutting down on your calorie intake.
The problem is that some fat in the diet is needed and is very healthy. This drug does not allow any fat to be broken down. You do lose weight, but your body is not getting the necessary fat for proper body function.
I ask you, are you living to be healthy or to be thin? If your living to be healthy then give up the diet pill and begin to eat well, think well, and exercise well.

FEAR
The word stands for" False Evidence Appearing Real." Many things that we worry about everyday never happen. In spite of the challenges that our global economy is experiencing you can choose not to participate. Listening to all the forecasters can bring much fear to you and your family. Put down that newspaper and turn off that T.V. You control your thoughts and actions. Take time each day to remember what all is good in your life and take control of what you can actually control. Life is good in spite of what others say.
